Nutella Pear Cupcakes

This weekend my parents and two more couples (family friends of ours) decided to go mountain hiking. Mom told me that Neli (my childhood friend, daughter of one of the couples) would be making banitsa for all of them to take on their journey, so she asked me if I wanted to make cupcakes. Hell yeah I made cupcakes! Neli made banitsa. How could I not make cupcakes? I'm competitive as f...*cough*. Sorry. :D
The joke aside Neli made a delicious banitsa and I made cupcakes worthy to be shared with you guys. They were absolutely delicious and everybody loved them. (Or so I'm told.)
Without further ado, I give you the recipe for my Nutella Pear Cupcakes. Lo and behold!

Without further ado, I give you the recipe for my Nutella Pear Cupcakes. Lo and behold!
Nutella Pear Cupcake Recipe
Dry ingredients: 1 cup flour 3 tablespoons fine oats /oat bran 3 tablespoons wheat bran 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/3 teaspoon baking soda Wet ingredients: 1 egg 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup oil 1/2 cup yoghurt | Special ingredients: 3-4 tablespoons Nutella 1 pear (diced and dried with a paper towel) Instructions: Mix the dry and wet ingredients first separately, then combine the two mixtures together. Add the special ingredients (the Nutella and the pear) and mix well. Distribute the batter into cupcake molds / baking dish. Sprinkle sugar on top (optional). Bake in preheated oven on 180-200 degrees Celsius for 20-30 min (or until ready). Enjoy! |
