Pulpy Grapefruit Juice
Hallo, lovely people.
I am here today to share with you my very own, very special, grapefruit juice recipe. I invented it a couple of weeks ago due to the lack of juicer, and the presence of high standards. It is delicious and refreshing, and more importantly – good for your health.
A cup of grapefruit juice first thing in the morning stimulates the appetite and helps with digestion. It is filthy rich in Vit. C and provides you with your daily dose of said vitamin, which in turn increases your body tone and immunity to viruses. Grapefruit also contains other vitamins, accompanied by minerals, antioxidants and fibres. It is highly beneficial for your heart, brain and skin. Now, about the recipe…
It is pretty easy. I have provided you with picture material to illustrate the process. In words: peal the grapefruit; remove the pulpy meat from its membranes (although, now that I think about it, they are good for you, so you can leave some); put the scavenged fruit in a high bowl; add honey (absolutely optional); blend with a pasator/blender; add water to adjust the consistency; pour in a glass; drink; enjoy!
One medium/big grapefruit makes for 1 cup of delicious pulpy juice. I highly recommend drinking it on empty stomach in the morning (it neutralizes the acidity in the stomach). I did that for a whole week and I felt great; energized. Peppermint tea is another beverage I like drinking in the morning. It is good for your tummy. Of course, you can drink those at any time of the day, really. The choice is yours (always!).
