May’s and June’s Top 40
Favorite artists
Hallo, everybody!
I know I’ve been absent for the past few months and haven’t posted anything in the blog. Honestly, I miss it so much - writing random articles and sharing them with you lovely people, who read my blog. Thank you for doing that, by the way! I truly appreciate it! I’d love it if you wrote comments more often, or like…at all, but hey! Can’t be too picky now, can we? :P
I’ve been preoccupied with other activities, mainly but not limited to my debut photographic exhibition…but I’ll tell you about it in a separate article. This one’s about music. As I long ago said I would, I’m going to share some of my favourite artists, starting with my all time favourite group – The Black Eyed Peas, and my childhood favourite band – The Destiny’s Child.

I recently discovered that there were songs by The Black Eyed Peas that I haven’t heard before. I was aghast, because they are freaking fantastic. Therefore, most of May and June I spent listening to my newly discovered and my already loved Black Eyed Peas’ songs. In addition to that, Fergie and Will.I.Am have some pretty cool singles and duets that I re-discovered.
I also remembered that I had an audio cassette of Destiny’s Child’s Christmas album. (Yes! I am from that generation. I used cassettes back in the day. Man, I sound so old…I’m not though.) They used to be my favourite group when I was little. Back then I didn’t understand English, which, by the way, didn’t stop me from singing along with each and every song butchering the language to unrecongizability. Fun times. At least I was in tune.
Now that I can comprehend the lyrics, I find some of them quite disturbing, and as a result the songs have lost their appeal to me. So, yeah. There’s that. I made a very short list of Destiny’s Child tracks I still favour. After the group fell apart, I continued listening to Beyoncé, the lead singer. She has a bunch of fantastic songs. I’ll include a number of my favourites below.
Enjoy the music! Share your thoughts! And smile for no reason!
